my friend Brittany is pregnant... and this has been so exciting. She was there at Maggie's birth, and has been one of my good friends for many years. She is such a cute prego lady....and so I am bragging for her:



12 weeks... no bump.





18 weeks... smallish bump.






20 weeks.. small bump.

Oh she looks fabulous. She is going to be such a good mom :)

goodbye to jamie

this post is for my friend jamie- she was my roommate before our missions, then afterward before I got married... Jamie, Heidi and I have had some crazy times together-



The most hard core biker I have ever met.


She's the favorite on Monroe family trips.




She lives hard core. (Heidi is also the most hard core woman I know.)



She is willing to do crazy things with me.


We eat our weird healthy foods together... these gingerbread houses sat untouched for months.


She will dress up for no reason. Especially for murder mystery games.


She puts up with my throwing up and still hikes with me. Cheers to Jamie... I will miss you. Good luck in D.C.!
